1909-1940

Foundation and first steps

1909

Founding of the Crafts Chamber in Banja Luka. First steps of organized association of craftsmen and traders in the region.

1920

Expansion of chamber activities. Covered 15 municipalities with over 500 members.

1935

First major educational campaign for craftsmen. Introduction of modern work standards.

1945-1990

Post-war reconstruction and development

1945

Restoration of chamber operations after World War II. New beginning for the craft and trade sector.

1960

Golden era of craftsmanship. Chamber counts over 3,000 active members and launches numerous initiatives.

1985

Modernization of services and expansion of international cooperation. First contacts with European chambers.

1991-2010

Transition to market economy

1995

Transformation into the Chamber of Independent Entrepreneurs of Republika Srpska. Adaptation to new legal frameworks.

2000

Process digitalization. First online services for members and electronic archive.

2005

Joining European chamber networks. Beginning of active participation in EU projects.

2010-danas

Modern era and European integration

2010

Membership in EUROCHAMBRES. Full integration into European entrepreneur network.

2015

Launch of digital platforms for members. Complete digitalization of administrative services.

2024

We become a leader in innovations among regional chambers. Over 11,500 active members.
